my scariest film of all time,alien is on now,forget all the ghosts and slasher flicks,this creates such an atmosphere that i have never been able to handle since i fist saw it when i was about 12,

No, won't be buying the boxset. I've got Alien 20th Ann. & Aliens SE- current release (both R1). Don't think much of Alien 3 & 4.

Unless somehow Aliens PQ has been vastly increased. Strange that Alien is great PQ, Aliens is average. Guess during the 80's film studios wanted to cut down on expensive, high quality film.

yeah they filmed aliens on some different film,70mm or something like that,i have collected all the alien films,i have alien on cine film and the video facehugger set,the laserdiscs and now the dvds,the new dvd looks like it may be special too.

Probably the most scares film in my opinion too. It was the first time I saw Sigourney Weaver but some how I took to the character. And then they went and put here in most of the dangerous situations.

I said to my misses after i watched it that i don't reckon anybody else - man or women would of suited the part better than Sigourney.

my misses couldnt believe it was so old a movie,she thought it was done in the early 90's,proves that the film has aged well.

That was her big break through, before that role she had not played a staring role in a film before and of them there was only about 4 or 5 (one was Annie Hall).
