Won't watching the making off spoil your enjoyment of the film?
I'd much rather watch the film before learning about how it was all done. I don't even tend to watch trailers anymore since they tend to give too much away but "The making off " is bound to have some spoilers in it surely?

Talking agreed

i agree with hawklord,i never watch the making of or trailers anymore for big movies,i remember going to watch the matrix not knowing anything about it and the film was better for it,i even managed not to get too many spoilers for episode 2 and i am a massive star wars fan....that was hard...

Agree too. Terrible idea to watch this before seeing the movie

Then again, I won't even be watching it after I've seen the movie. I wanna keep the magic alive

Hi,

More important Matrix announcements:

Channel Five, will be doing a "Matrix Evening" on Wednesday 21st May. At 9pm, you'll get the original movie, in 1.85:1 widescreen format (BBFC version, alas).

Then, at 11:35pm, the UK TV premiere of "The Animatrix: The Flight Of The Osiris" will be shown, in its original widescreen format. (This means you'll get to view it, before the Warner Bros UK DVD release of the whole "Animatrix" series, on June 2nd!).

Lastly, at 11:50pm that night, Five are transmitting their own "The Making Of The Matrix Reloaded", lasting 35 minutes. This will be better (probably) than the pre-release puff that ITV normally show. Hopefully, you will get behind-the-scenes info on some of the jaw-dropping effects, cast and crew interviews, and a bit of a preview of "The Matrix 3" (whose name escapes me, at this time - is it "The Matrix Revealed"?).

You can already view a lot of the Animatrix episodes at http://www.whatisthematrix.com/

Ditto, I taped the premier of the X-Men the other week as I had seen far too many trailers, and enjoyed it more afterwards knowing what they were on about.

Why are they know putting these things on before the film is out rather than leaving them till later? Or is it just good publicity but spoils the film for you.

It's pure publicity. Warner Brothers were the first studio to market a film this way. When Keanu dodges the bullets towards the end of the film it's supposed to be suprising and awe inspiring. I saw him do it several times before I went to the film in "The Making Of" and in trailers and it completly ruined the effect
