Mission Impossible on ITV in 4:3???

Hi.
Does anyone know why ITV always broadcast Mission Impossible in 4:3?
It really pisses me off because it's a great film, and I only have widescreen TVs!

It's all down to how much the TV company are willing to pay. Sometimes airline versions are used, which usually means any sight of skin, mention of words like damn, and complete killings are removed
