Just started watching this show, and it's kind of ok, but moving very slowly. I'm at ep.6 at the moment. All these have been individual stories, but was just wondering if there is going to be a bigger picture to this show? NOTE: I DON'T want to know what it may be if there is one, but if not i might just give up on this show.
Can anyone say anything, without giving anything away that will keep me interested?

Yes there is - it doesnt relly go very far to explaining anything in the first series but the second series goes full tilt - and of course JLH in skimpy nightwear is always worth watching

So if i keep with the show, i'll be expecting more one off stories until say ep18/19 of something like that, where an additional element to the show will kick in just before the season finale? Not sure if I'll be able to stay the distance, the stories do seem to be quite dull at the moment. I wish Tru Calling was able to continue, the second season was really opening up loads of new directions. Will Ghost Whisperer be along those lines: i.e. open up into new directions come season 2?

It has bits of the story arc scattered through loads of episodes - you usually get a couple of scenes every episode or so that give you information towards the finale and then it all kicks off in series two with more information that builds on the series one revelations.

And of course JLH in skimpy night attire gets you through the less interesting parts

Story arc? We used to call this continuity. Some shows had it, others didn't. At the end of the day it's good or bad. It's one I'm interested in but haven't seen. I've heard many bad things about it. From your comments I'd say you're not too keen yourself.

I wouldn't bother with Ghost Whisperer if I was you it's really chick flick TV that even with Jennifer Love Hewitt in skimpy outfits doesn't make it worth watching. There are so many better shows out there, nearly all having gorgeous female co-stars. So why waste your time on pap like this?

I just watched the series 3 finale
The last two shows moved the story along quite nicely

I'm in no way into chick flick TV (ex Army, 6ft4" Rugby playing No8)
I just like watching stuff that's a bit different to normal life, the last thing I want to do is stick the TV on and see the reality of everyday life.

He can see all six people, so far He has never seen ghosts
Or was the ghost book on his desk earlier an indication that he had been trying to learn to see ghosts?
In that case it could be anyone.
