I have memories of a kids afternoon TV show that was a bit of a creepfest. All I can remember is that it had a different story? each week, and it had this time travel element. The only thing I can really remember was this chant that used to happen. It was "BOY.........BOY........BOY........BOY!" I think one episode had an African kid from the 19th century returned to the 20th century, and he's in this room when someone flicks on the lights and he freaks out, thinking it's the work of the devil!
Anyone remember what it's called cos I'd love to try and find it somewhere...

I remeber it, I think the kids from the 20th century went back in time aswell. The chanting come from an african drum (I think) still can't remeber the name though.

There was a series in 1976 called "The Georgian House" (6 x 30 minute episodes) that centred around Dan and Abbie, two students working in a Georgian house. They enter a room and find a strange wooden African carving on a table. The statue begins to rotate, the room darkens and a haunting voice calls, "Boy, boy, boy". The next thing they know is that they have been transported back to 1772 where their mission is to help a negro slave boy called Ngo, who posesses strange powers, to get back to his home.

What can I say, Once again AVForums excellent membership comes up with the goods again! Many many thanks for providing the title of this rarity! I will now endevour to purchase this series. I just hope that I can find it somewhere

The Georgian House was broadcast in 1976 by HTV,there were 7 episodes made each 25 minutes long.HTV produced quite a few Telefantasy series in the mid to late 70's with a supernatural theme.
Series such as Sky,The Georgian House,Children of the Stones,King of the Castle and Clifton House Mystery.
Sadly,only 3 episodes of The Georgian House survive today,the other 4 have been permanently erased which will prevent it ever having an official release on DVD.
The 3 episodes that survive are,episode 1:'New Recruits',episode 3:'Treachery',and the final episode 7:'Look to your Future'.

I've got the 3 surviving episodes in their entirety on a DVD,that's where
the clips come from.
I'm a huge fan of 60's & 70's cult TV and The Georgian House is particular favourite of mine although the series has largely been forgotten over the years.
I remember the episode you mentioned in your earlier post when Ngo (Brinsley Forde) travels forward to the 20th century with Dan and Abbie is completely freaked out by it all.Sadly,that's one of the missing episodes.
