Liverpool v Arsenal 2nd leg

You might have thought ITV would have pulled out all the stops for tonight's clash but I do believe this is possibly the worst quality I have ever seen on ITV footie and that's saying something.

I don't know what you're referring to - the quality of the football or the quality of ITV's presentation ?

Re: Liverpool v Arsenal 2nd leg

As I was Sky plussing both CSI and Bionic Woman I was forced to watch the match on ITV Freeview (which doesn't happen often) but I have to say the picture quality was pretty damn good where I was. No complaints from me on that score.

Regards

Mark

Re: Liverpool v Arsenal 2nd leg

As a neutral (West Ham supporter) I have to say I feel a bit sorry for the Arse. They have been on the end of a lot of dodgy decisions lately :

1) Aliadiere offside against Boro
2) Drogba offside against Chelsea
3) No penalty for Hleb in first leg
4) Lucas pulling back Fabregas in the league game
5) Last night's iffy foul on Babel

No wonder they feel a bit aggrieved.

Re: Liverpool v Arsenal 2nd leg

ITV and BBC footy to a lesser extent looks acceptable via Freeview on a CRT, unfortunately that could become an issue as the flat panel takeup increases.
On the positive side Freesat and SKY offering HD from ITV and the BBC should help matters but SD footy on Sat from ITV

Re: Liverpool v Arsenal 2nd leg

Was watching on Freeview and it was awful, maybe I've just been spoilt by all the lovely HD footie on Sky.
