The Apprentice - is it fixed now for ratings?

Now I am not a big fan of this show, catching only the odd show of the previous series of it.

I have seen both the shows from this series as the OH loves it, and I am convinced now that it is no longer a genuine show to find a worker for Sir Alan but a show to generate a bit of controversy and ratings for the Beeb.

I came to this conclusion after this weeks show. When the team leader (who looks like a man in drag) and the one that couldn't get out of bed and cried at the slightest bit of criticism were heading back in to be part of the final 3, not for one second did I think the 3rd girl would be remotely in any risk of getting eliminated. She had done nothing wrong in comparison to the other 2 idiots.

But Sir Alan eliminated her, and I firmly believe it was because it would be more entertaining to leave 2 idiots in the show, especially 2 idiots that hate each other and will probably provide future friction and tension in the show. And thus ratings.

So I will probably not take too much interest in it any more.

And the fact that these people are so stupid and annoying I also believe helped in them getting chosen for the series. I love the way they claim they are all 'senior' this and 'top regional executive' that and yet they are dense!! They can't do simple tasks.

Has pretty much always been that way in my view

But more annoying is that since series 2, contestants have all been useless ts, only chosen for entertainment value rather than the BS about them being Britains brightest business prosepects or the tycoons of tomorrow
