These type of posts usually get on my tits (am I allowed to say 'tits' ?), but I'd really like to track down this film so I'd appreciate it if anyone can help.

I saw it on TV many years ago, it was an animated science fiction film, and I think it featured blue aliens as the main characters. The one scene which sticks in my head was when the aliens were eating - the food was a sort of cloud/gas thing that came up from the floor and they were sucking bits of it into their mouths. Can't be more specific than that.

I remember thinking that it was really weird when I watched it as a kid so I'd really like to watch it again now and see what I make of it now.

"Fantastic Planet" I think its called.
Quite a famous animation: I think it might have recieved an oscar.
