Dr Who Season 4 HD?

Dr Who isn't filmed in HD due the prohibitive cost of producing the special effects in HD. Torchwood has far fewer effects so isn't so exspensive to make in HD.

They should scrap touchwood and use the money to make DR Who in HD

There was talk in one of the threads that it might go HD next year with the "specials".

The visual effect company used by Doctor Who have yet to go HD but are getting there. I hope that it will be ready for the next season but i doubt season 4 will be HD.

If series 4 were to be in HD then the last Xmas special would have been as it was made as part part of the series.
