Synopsis of movie

There's a fresh rumor floating around the Internet: If someone surfs the web site www.990714.com during the Chinese Ghost Festival, they can communicate with people in the underworld. Seven students succeed in communicating, and suffer the consequences. One by one, each mysteriously dies. While Han is visiting the web site, he hears a knock on the door. It is Tal, a hall-monitor from his school, with another mysterious rumor attached to the site!!

And what a fantastic film that was!

It remined me of a Lynda LePlant series shown on ITV though i'm not sure what the title was.
