It's another one off although there is another Louis documentary called The Hunters, looking at the South African hunting industry, to be shown soon.

Still enjoyed it but Louis obviously couldn't over step the mark in there for having his head removed so it wasn't as entertaining as previous docs.

Also found it rather full of 'nothing'.

No hope for most of those guys in there. And it doesn't look like they have too much of a life like some people think inmates have. Didn't see any pool tables, plasma's, TVs in cells etc. But the thing that struck me was that many seemed happy enough. But they do say that many inmates enjoy life better inside than outside.

I thought it was insteresting that most of the prisoners accepted why they were in there and didnt blame anyone else for it. Other than the first guy he spoke to and the kiddie fiddlers, who did look stereotypical (my wife called them out as soon as she saw them). Even when Louis asked the 500 year sentence guy was it because he had mental issues, he still said no it was me.

It was good but not as good as his usual stuff.

Lockdown (currently showing on Channel 5, Wednesdays ~11pm) is a much better prison documentary.

True. The guy serving 500 years (Hmm) was quite compelling however. He was articulate and intelligent and knew what he did was wrong and was ready to accept that but the brutality of his crimes means he will perish in prison.

The noise in the prison seemed overwhelming and would surely distract even the strongest of minds.......no wonder their motto appeared to be 'I ain't scared of nobody and no-one '

Always a fan of Louis, didn't think much of the Plastic Surgery one.

Wasn't expecting too much from this but really enjoyed it.

Nothing new but good contributions from the inmates.

For those who missed the Louis Theroux prison doc, it's being repeated!

It's airing next week on Thursday night (24th) at 11:20pm, approx on BBC2! It doesn't look like it's being shown on BBCHD, although that's probably a blessing.
