New series of Shameless

There's a new series of Shameless tonight at 10.10pm on C4. When this first started it was fresh, groundbreaking and very funny. I've enjoyed it all up to now but can't help but think a break would have been a good idea. The Radio Times reckons there's 16 episodes to this series. Too much of a good thing?
