Star Trek: Of Gods and Men

Part 1 is available to watch online. It has plenty of Trek Actors in it (mainly from TOS and Voyager). Alan Ruck (Captain John Harriman) from Enterprise B also makes a appearance.

Why? It is one of the best online Trek episodes. Star Trek: New Voyages is also worth watching for a Fan based series.

Actually it's 3 minutes of act 1, so even Part 1 could be made from several parts. If the whole program was 9 minutes long it would be extremely short.

EDIT: Sorry I just found the other link to send an email...

Re: Star Trek: Of Gods and Men

I just watched it again and noticed people from Enterprise and DS9 (including a much older Jake Sisko). I almost didn't recognise him.

David Icke is from Alien Nation mainly but does have quite a lot of episodes as Vulcan Soval in Enterprise.

Full Cast list.

David Icke = Gary Graham.

I was joking about David Icke who is a weirdo who thinks that the Queen is an Alien. Although Gary Graham may expose somebody as an alien as well!!!

They look so alike that apparently you didn't notice the difference in my photoshop edit.

Re: Star Trek: Of Gods and Men

started watching it ... almost so bad it was actually good

loved Uhura's explanations as to the why the dead guys / higher billed actors weren't present
- can now see why they didn't make greater use of Nichols in Heroes S2

Re: Star Trek: Of Gods and Men

Have also tried to watch these, did they go out of their way to make it look and sound cheap and tacky? As if the acting was not hammy enough they had to add crappy back ground noises... It feels like the lead up to some pr0n flick.

A little off topic but has anybody seen The Man From Earth, its not based on the ST universe or time period but it has a lot of ST actors in it (to prove that they can still act)

An endeavour which shows that money spent on sets and actors are not a pre-requisite for a enjoyable and entertaining experience when you have an interest story to tell.

I had tingles when the religion aspect cropped up

That is what to expect from fan made episodes. They only have a limited budget.

There are a few actors from Star Trek: New Voyages in there including the guy who plays Captain Kirk.

http://www.startreknewvoyages.com/

New Voyages is better looking visually.

They also managed to get a few Trek actors to star in their episodes.

I thought it was great, considering it isn't costing millions....

...and it's got Chase Masterson in it!

Re: Star Trek: Of Gods and Men

I thought that the Enterprise going into warp drive was more intense than the effects that have been used previously. I like the way that it slows down, and powerslides to a halt as well.. quite cool! Also like the Klingon paintwork on the Enterprise... or whatever that red paintwork is supposed to be.
