Battlestar Razor in HD?

Hi Guys

anyone know if the recent USA showing of Razor was aired on a HD channel over there? Also, any idea if its out there on HD/Blu-Ray yet?

Razor is on SKY1HD on the 18th (no idea if it'll turn up on Anytime), no HD release on the cards at this time.

Bought Razor 'unrated' R1 dvd on ebay on Tuesday, watched it Wednesday night - 15 minutes longer than the TV version (FX and flash backs) lots of extras on the disc - Couldn't wait for the Sky showing

Can't wait for the final season - next easter (is it?)

funny you should say that, because the Sky mag lists it as being shown on the 5th of December (this Wednesday coming), but when you go on the EPG some low-quality film is on 'starring' Robert Englund.

As the other poster states, it must be on the 18th instead

I've just had a look on Sky's web site. Under their TV listings Razor is on Sky1 HD Tuesday 18th at 9PM.

Yes.
It deals with the Pegasus (under Kane in the second season) and their back story but also contains elements that relate to the direction the third season took.

The HD repeat is on the 22nd and an SD repeat on the 20th and 23rd.

Yes it has, but I was surprised how bad it looked in HD. i thought it would of been a bit better even with the grain. Still an excellent show regardless.

You're not wrong !

It wasn't just that it was grainy - I expect that of Battlestar, and don't mind it at all. There were bizarre blocky picture break ups - the bit that sticks in my mind was immediately after the Pegasus was hit by the nukes.

A decent standalone episode though.

Agreed, the PQ was awful, pretty much looked like upscaled SD to me. Like you say though, it was a superb show as always though - certainly one of my fave shows. Can't wait for Series 4...if we ever get it!
