Who do you think you are?

Alistair McGowan tracing his roots back to India and finding out more than he bargained for extremely enjoyable and fascinating tracing his family roots back to almost 1750.

if you taped it i have spoilered the conclusion below, by the way its repeated at 12.55am again signed though.

spoiler;

He found out his (not to sure what generation) great, great, great grandfather was John McGowan who married Maria de Cruz, probably not her real name, as she was more likely a indian woman, converted by portugese missionaries. And where did John come from Scotland?, no Ireland!.

Re: Who do you think you are?

interesting to see Angloindians covered on TV, people rarely understand the term or indeed the history in its ethnic definition
