Columbia Hammer Films on TV ?

Was wondering ,

if the following is a coincidence since the highly publicised demise of DDHE(who had just acquired a large batch of Columbia Hammer and non Hammer films for DVD release)leaving their recent acquisitions in limbo. Suddenly BBC-2 starts showing titles such as TASTE OF FEAR/THE GORGON/THESE ARE THE DAMMED and NIGHT OF THE DEMON-all which were in the recent DDHE acquisitions is this a coincidence or have this particular film library been sold to the BBC??
