24 day 6 or Heroes?

Ok TV experts, I've got some time to watch some DVDs. I'm a 24 fan, but keep hearing of good things of Heroes. Both DVDs collection have been released, which one do you reckon I should watch first? Good old Jack Bauer never sleep, or Heroes?

I would recommend Heroes - I'm a BIG 24 fan, right from the start, but S6 was a letdown.

However I've really been loving Heroes on BBC HD - and I believe you can buy it on HD-DVD as well, which is what I would get if I was buying it.

Agreed. if you have seen 24 1 to 5, then try something new rather than something that in my view is a little tired. And im also a big 24 fan (when i had sky one).

Heroes. Season 6 of 24 was shockingly poor. Also from a massive 24 fan.

Season 6 of 24 was so shocking i wish I could wipe it from my memory, however then i guess I would risk having to watch it again

Dont be folled by the first 4 hours, which foll you to think that it could be the best season yet - its a shocking story and just full of the same old cliches

Heroes on the other hand, despite the slowish first couple of episodes was brilliant

Die hard fan of 24 here, but S06 was just.... well crap. Take Heroes S01 over this (this, being 24 Season 6) anyday.

Same as everyone else above. 24 S6 was started with so much promise but was a massive let down. Heroes, on the other hand, just kept getting better and better.

It looks like sky did me a favour by not agreeing the deal with VM over sky one.

At the time i was gutted that 24 was being lost about a quarter way through. In addition, i know of a few big fans who watched every episode so far, simply gave up half way through s6.

A definate vote for heroes - save the cheerleader / save the world / save yourself from repetitive 24 storylines

I would guess that it is more likely to be on sky two or three.

Heroes !!!!

Season 6 of 24 was so shockingly bad now I think of it, I am being put off ever watching the show again. It used to be fantastic, but do yourself a fovour, and watch Heroes and enjoy
