ITV2 now a proper 24-hour channel (almost)

Just noticed that ITV2 now runs through the night with proper programming rather than that teleshopping crap they used to run.

There is still an hour or so of teleshopping but at least they're now showing repeats of Trisha and David Letterman and stuff like that.

It could be better but at least it's a bit more choice for the wee hours

Hi,

Personally, I find much of ITV2's output really terrible. It appears to be made-up solely of the worst of ITV's output.

Take the weekends for example. I frequently find it's back-to-back repeats of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" or "Blind Date" or "Pop Idol".

Why can't they show some of the best of ITV's older output? Examples - a complete uncut re-run of the "Cracker" series?

Yup most of its crap.
They should rename it 24hr Trisha.
The only thing I watch on it is The late show at 1am when theres nothing else on anywhere.
I think the line up for this year included a few good films so that might be good.

I really do think all these tv companies who've suddenly created more Digital only channels could put at least some interesting new stuff on them. The BBC are just as bad with Choice(Three) and BBC4.

Where's Captain Ahab to pile on Whale's White hump when you need him I hate that little man.
I did see one of Whales' shows with The Mission front man on who appeared after a gig party; wrecked some astrologer's computer whilst drunkenly staggering about, going wow man...kasplit. Then Whale tells Hussey, "I used to like your music and so invited you on. But your just a drunk idiot so I don't like your music any more and won't listen to it". Tw*t. Whale is like that other dick Gary Bushel who similarly needs poking with red hot instruments - they really should expect the inquisition
