Cool

Just caught the beginning Two things when do they start putting dams on top of mountains, and why didn't 008 just shoot James Bond instead of going through the charade. Or does it explain it later in the film?

PS Metric rather watch it in 2.35:1.

Oh and when is a human body more aerodynamic than a plane, and faster when the planes engine is running?

I though it very true to life apart from sticking joystick based things that were suppose to be bombs near the end (props department must have been running out of budget).

watching this last night it really brought home what a crap choice of car the Z3 was - stick to the Aston's Bond

Good point though metric - I too can happily watch a film on TV that's been sitting in the DVD rack for months - odd

Dramatic tension

>Oh and when is a human body more aerodynamic than a plane, >and faster when the planes engine is running?
When the plane has already reached terminal velocity, but cant go any faster due to wind resistance, but the human can due to its shape.

The stunt in Goldeneye was faked, at least partly, but is also possible with sufficient skill.

Leaving aside the laser gun, and the goldeneye satellite technology GoldenEye is actually reasonably realistic. To my mind the most implausible stunt is actually the tank driving. Still a lot of fun though.
