TV is finally getting good again :)

Right from next week, we have:

Taken (The Spielberg alien thingy. It should be excellent)
Friends series 9 (I've seen a few eps and it is very funny so far)
Buffy series 7 - the last series and apparently will be the best one yet
Angel series 4 - best show of last year IMHO and it ended on a double cliffhanger. Should be excellent
Frasier series 11 (12?) - I've heard rumours its starting on Wednesday - really hope its as funny as the older episodes. Funniest sitcom ever IMO

Any thing I have missed?

Cool

I thought it was taking a very large leap when I heard Cilla was finishing with Blind Date then I heard someone was taking over.

Glad to see Hornblower on ITV but I think it will be the last for a very long time.

'Boomtown' and 'Fastlane' are also both also on the way (although Fastlane is Sky One only).

Also looking forward to the new series of '24' at the end of January and awaiting Micheal Mann's 'Robbery Homicide Division' with Tom Sizemore.

With the 3rd series of 'Six Feet Under' also due in the first half of this year, a recordable DVD player is becoming ever more tempting

Oh yeah - just a matter of time before Firefly debuts over here. For those who haven't heard of it, it's written by Joss 'God of all Sci-fi' Whedon (Buffy/Angel to you and me

No one likes it when a show gets cancelled especially
when its quality TV. FOX TV unfortunately have cancelled
Joss Whedons "Firefly" I just hope another network
takes it on, Whedon said he will do all he can to keep
it going.

There have been other casualties too, Birds of Prey
and Robbery Homicide Division amongst others.

The good news, "24" has been excellent so far and
"Alias" has been good also.

Fox haven't ordered anymore episodes of Firefly and say they won't for the foreseeable future. Although to keep Joss sweet they have said he can offer it to other networks and have told him that Buffy the animated series will go ahead after all.

Hi,

Just seen a trailer for all of the following, on Five!

CSI: Crime Scene Investigations (Season 3 - will air July 2003)

CSI: Miami (Season 1, will start before the end of this month!)

Law And Order: (Season 8, 9 or 10, more than likely. Probably start before the end of the month!

Boomtown (Season 1 - will start to air soon, probably in "The Shield"'s old Sunday 10pm slot!)

Law And Order: Special Victims Unit (Season 1 - No dates confirmed, but likely to be before Easter. Has already aired on the Hallmark Channel though, as have Seasons 2 and 3!)

Looks like Five have got some stonking shows on their hands!!

Pooch
