Premiers - how do you get tickets?

Is it generally possible to get tickets to a premier other than being in the film or a "celeb"? Suppose I wanted to go see, for arguments sake, the T3 premier? How would I go about it?

The premiers that all the stars go to are generally reserved for the stars, film industry and media.

You can get tickets to advance previews from places like the stella screen website but that is only for selected films at selected cinemas.

I went to the 'Star Trek - Nemesis' European premiere just before christmas, with the missus (she's a big Data fan).
A few stars were there, and at the party afterwards.

Q.How did I get the tickets?
A. Pay a lot of money!

I got the tickets from The Princes Trust. £175 each. ouch.
