Thumbs down Sequel to Se7en

I was reading about plans to make a sequel to Se7en. What a terrible idea.
The journalist "joked" that it might be called "Eight", hahahahaha.

Seems Morgan Freeman will be in it and Brad Pitts character will be referred to, but will not appear, apparently he is confined to a mental hospital.

Re: Sequel to Se7en

Definitely a bad idea.

I don't think it would be called "Eight". They'd go for something like "Ei8ht" instead

Well it might be ok...maybe even good

It won't be anywhere near as good as the original (one of my favourite films ever) but if it's got the same writer/director/production crew etc then it should be a good film.

I'll keep my eye open on this one...certainly one to look forward to anyway

Even more reason to avoid it then.

I do like Fincher, easily one of my favourite directors (not to be confused with Finchey from American Pie ).

Hated Seven the first time I watched it.

Loved it the second time around, by which time they seemed to have renamed it to "Se7en"

Still, have to take my hat off to you for braving your nuts

Seven is a cool film. One of the few decent films Morgan Freeman is worthy of adding his talent, as he's been wasted lots. I really enjoyed it at the flicks, apart from the dodgy sound in places which had 'someone' keep asking me what did he say

I had to resort to the 'English hard of hearing' subtitles during some scenes, particularly at the start.

Try turning the volume level up or sit nearer to the speaker.
