Oh man. I got tingles just watching the Matrix code trickle down at the start, let alone when the trailer proper began! That's more than a teaser mate - that's a good trailer!!!! And it's not just for Matrix Reloaded but also for Matrix Revolutions

Can't ****ing wait!!!!!!!!

And they're still using that fantastic Rage Against The Machine track!!! Woooooohoooooooo!!!!

I feel yet another viewing of my Matrix DVD coming on......

Is it true that both are being released this year ? I've heard this from several people now.

Or will there be a large gap inbetween the release dates?

I'd love it if both were released this Summer but maybe that is just Internet rumours

According to the wallpaper I have on my desktop, Matrix Reloaded is out May 15, 2003. I think that's for US cinemas only, but maybe the UK release will be around the same time - let's hope so.

Yes, Matrix Revolutions is also supposed to be released this year but I don't know when. Christmas would be nice

More importantly, I hope they get the DVDs out quickly!

Saw that a while ago, I didn't think it was that good a trailer really - too much nothing (a big waste of download time). Doesn't really make me want to go watch it, and I'm a big Matrix fan. More than 6 seconds of footage might be nice too.

On my Dual Athlon MP 2100+ this plays at 24fps (full speed) at 100% and enlarged to 1600x1200.

On my iBook G3 500 it doesnt get much past 5fps at any playback size.

Ah well... it's always nice to see Apple embarassing themselves on their own technology.

Didn't take me long to download over broadband. Plays great on my P4 but I couldn't find a full screen option in the QuickTime player?? Is there one??

I'm glad there's not too much footage there or it would ruin the movies for me

Ctrl + F, Full Screen, then hit play.

Agreed, trailers that show the entire content of a film in 2 minutes are a real pet peeve of mine!

Thanks, but it don't work Looked in File menus and all other menus too. I'm using QuickTime 6 and playing the 1024x768 version which I downloaded, so it's standalone, not in the browser. Do I need to download some extras?

Squirrel, you on a mac? If you're on a pc, it should be Ctrl + F, look under the "Movie" menu at the top of the player, you should get Half Size, Normal Size, Double Size and then Full Screen.

Unless its a Quicktime Pro only feature.

Mac? How dare you insult me?!! Hate 'em!!

Looks like it's in the Pro version only then mate as I just have Half, Normal and Double. No full screen option

Time for me to "upgrade" my copy Would've done it before but couldn't be bothered as the Pro version never had anything of use. I can see I was wrong!!

Thanks

Tell a lie, there's no need.

I loaded it up in RealOne player and that let me play it in full screen. Woohoo!!

Perhaps I am alone in thinking that the matrix sequels look like a pile of tosh......

I can't see how they can improve the original film and will be very surprised if they get anywhere near the quality. Just looks like lots of wire effect Kung Fu, which has been done plenty in other films.

Oh plus I hate Keanu Reeves

Yes, it's derivative. But it has a vibe about it that's just so cool. Can't get enough of it. Even if they turn out to be utter tosh, I just know I'll still love 'em
