Starship Troopers 2

According to the Sci Fi Channel News it seems this may be a possibility. A Straight to Video production starring Clancy Brown. If it's even 5% as good as the original it gets my vote.

Cool

Yes the straight to video does not bode too well.

Wasn’t the other a success? I thought it warranted a sequel.

I certainly have it on video and think it was a big seller. And the straight to video does not necessarily mean good sales good reviews at the box office does.

straight to video

What other film released straight to video has done well.
I cant think of any!!

I would be so disapointed if this was done as everyone is proclaiming their concern for all aspects of the sequel.

I would way prefer to wait than to milk the sequel for what it is. The first is more of a cult movie isnt it, wasnt that mainstream successful was it. Prolly more ppl bought it on DVD than ever went to see it. Praps thats why they wanna go straight to video.
Anyway I still waited for the rerelease that replaced the flipper.

Still see what happens.

Want to know more??

The thing is that there probably was some feed back from those who saw it at the cinema, and that is why a lot of people bought it on DVD. Now if it goes straight to video you will not get as much feedback and you are not going to get as many disc/videos sold. Not unless they think all those that bought the first film will automatically buy the second, which I do not think will happen.

I got it on Reg 1, you only had to flip for the extras.

It can't be any worse than the original.

yeah I quite enjoyed Starship Troopers at the cinema and then bought the DVD!....IMHO it definitely warrants a box office sequel!
