Just started watching Smallville

Hi,

Just started watching Smallville and I really like it, yes it's a bit Dawsons Creek at time with regards to Lana and Clark but the stories are good and the script is also good, much better that I thought it was going to be.

Got 5 seasons to watch now.

I watched the first 2 seasons. The best thing on TV at the time. Then C4 messed with the sched and now I am way behind. I have no idea what is going on. Saying that it seems that it isn't as good

I started wating season one boxset last year, and still not finished it, along with Alias S2, SpaceA&B, Shogun, and many more. I hoping when i retire i get time, only about 28 years left

Seems you're like me. I've got loads of TV DVDs to watch. At least I've got through season 1 of Smallvile and I'm a few episodes into season 2. Like DVD=Man I could do without the teen soap bits but it's still pretty good. I think Michael Rosenbaum as Lex is very good. He also voices the Flash in the Justice League cartoons.

He's also one the best in Justice League as a hero. Also his Lex is far better than Kevin Spacey's

Not seen the film yet but in Smallvle he dominates the screen when hes on, also John Glovers good as well as Lex's dad.

Smallville is great TV, they first 2 seasons i thought were great, season 3 was ok and season 4 was decent, it went a bit off the rails but it came back strong, Season 5 was the worst for me but season 6 brought it back to become even better and season 7 so far is top notch

Not that bad then, even though it's a teen soap. I'm part of the way through season 2. I'll reach season 4 around 2011.

Fantastic show made by people who know a lot about the DC universe

I have recently done a marathon season 1 - 6 session, and am watching season 7 at the US pace.

The annoying thing for me was Lana becoming a disloyal selfish sanctimonious hypocritical bitch who you care very little about ... though season 6 and 7 have started to turn that around

I love it on a Friday morning getting the new Ep of Season 7, hope it gets renewed for a 8th season.

I herd that this might be the last season for all the cast bar Tom Welling and Erica Durance and then the show will go into a full on Superman show....

You have a lot to look forward to!

Season 1&2 when I watched them first time, were amazing. But it really kicks off from Season 3, and when you look back to season 1 and 2 now (I'm on season 7) it looks nearly baby-ish. So stick to it, and buy the HD-DVDs for Seaosn 5 and 6

Or just hte DVDs like me

It'll be interesting to see how they handle the handle the situation regarding Superman and Clark not being recognized as the same person. Maybe Superman will wear the glasses.

Why would they drop almost the entire cast or do you mean they won't be there on a regular basis?

.....but Tom Welling has always said that he doesn't want to ever wear the Superman suit plus warner are very restricting to smallville as to what they can use on the show.

Loving Season 7 at the moment, season 4 was the worst for me so far but hopefully there will be an 8.

Awesome series one of my favourites allong with Supernatural. I have season 5 in HD and waiting for delivery of season 6 in HD.

I have read that the cast are going to leave, rumour has it Michael Rosenbaum is wanting out of the show to try other things

True but Warner have let them get away with a few little things here or there

Welling said he would not want to wear the suit, but what else will he do without Smallville ? i mean he isnt the best actor in the world but he is great as CK

If the cast don't sign on then maybe the money saved will goto Welling and tempt him to wear it

Yeah that would be awesome. I would love to see CK turn into SUperman. Maybe the series could then coninue with him trying to fit in as Superman?

I just finished the 6th Season a couple of weeks back, still like it as much as I did in the early stages.

Will probbly just wait for S7 on DVD and give myself some room to catch up on other shows.
