Can anyone remember this cartoon what it was called and where some more info can be found?

Basic plot was something in the future after the world was destroyed by something, failure of the environment I think.

The hero was called Blue I think was also that colour with a rather elongated head and he used to fly around his very sureal world on his robot called surf who could be just a sort of flying head with two big red eyes or extend a surfboard behind its head for 'Blue to ride on.

Had a theme tune that wnet something like

Blue child of our sun
Blue child of the earth
on his robot surf he flies
to save humanity

Looked everywhere online and found nothing.

I remember the cartoon too. Used to be on The Children's Channel before school back around 1990ish.

Hooray I am not the only one who remembers it.

It's been buggin me to hence the attempt to find some more info but so far it's been a failure.

Think I got it.

It would appear to have been french and even though I saw it in english there doesn't seem to be anything out there on google for the English title.

It would translate as Blue, child of the earth but the only reference I have found is as Blue the earth child

It has a very brief IMDB entry under it's french title.
