Re: New TV for July

Cool, looking forward to the return of The 4400. Hope it is in HD.

What are Dexter and Dirt like? Any good?

Also, don't get too engrossed in Studio 60, it was cancelled.

Yeah but didnt Sutdio 60 at least get a full season so now getting into it and then finding out it only lasted 5 episodes like a number of the shows that have been on this year!!!

Dexter looks excellent and all the reviews of it ive seen have been glowing
Not sure about Dirt but it stars Courtney Cox as as far as I remember the reviews in America were good

Re: New TV for July

I'll be watching The 4400 in HD, seen the rest

Dirt wasn't bad being more of a black comedy/drama and at least Studio 60 was wrapped up.

Re: New TV for July

Shouldn't CSI: Miami be starting sometime soon on Ch5 now that CSI and CSI:NY have ended / are ending their runs?

I haven't checked the EPG for next Tuesday yet, maybe it's already there?

Regards

Mark

Re: New TV for July

Watched the first episode of Dexter last night, seems wonderfully ambiguous, and I love the way you can either choose to view Dexter as a psychopathic super hero or just a plain monster.

Re: New TV for July

CSI: Miami season 5 starts on Tue 17/07, the last 3 eps. of season 4 are repeated next Tue(10/07).

Also, starting next Tue(10/07) is Cape Wrath on Ch4. Its a 7 part Ch4 drama starring David Morrissey. It is set in Meadowlands, a town where everyone is under protective custody! Supposed to be quite dark and twisted.

cheers, count

Re: New TV for July

is it true that Ed died and was replaced? If so does his daughter leave the show? Also has the character Sam in this new season? I can't decide whether to watch this or Threshold on the sci-fi Channel.

Season 4 is being shown tonight soEd does not die and his daughter does not leave in fact there are no major cast changes this season however for season 5.....

You could watch Threshold on the +1 (SKY1 had it in widescreen and HD not that long ago) or Las Vegas on SKY2 tomorrow

Or you could just avoid Threshold like the plague as it is dire rubbish that wasnt cancelled soon enough and watch Las Vegas.

As far as I know Ed is in this series but leaves for the next series (to be replaced by Magnum PI )
