Seconded, one of my favourite boxsets. They're in the process of making a "follow up" The Pacific now too, which sounds good.

Both Cracker & BoB are excellent.

The region 1 BoB has DTS if that matters to you (sounds brilliant too, I might add) not sure the region 2 does.

Okay, time to go against the flow here

I bought the BoB box set late last year having read so many good thing about it.

I think I watched about 4 episodes before I gave up on it. I just couldn't get into the characters. There seemed little or no continuity between the episodes and I'd think "who's he", "was he in the last episode"!?

I do plan to give it another try over the coming months...

Maybe it's just me.

You should def give it another go. The best thing on telly the year it came out IMHO.

band of brothers is a top series, and the boxset is quite cheap now.
it starts off slow but the more the series goes on the better it gets.
funny seeing ross from friends in it too.
