Die Hard on ITV

The showing of Die Hard on ITV last Monday night (25 June) was a classic example of why widescreen films shouldn't be butchered by the chav television channel. The glimpses I had of it looked pretty poor, like using the zoom button on your DVD player to expand the image and not bothering that you couldn't see half of the picture - and more importantly half of the action ! How crazy is that. I can't believe that is how the majority of viewers want to see a film, it really is the bonehead option.

Not to mention all the cuts for violence and bad language

What's the point of a watershed, if they're still going to cut stuff after it?

Re: Die Hard on ITV

i only caught the last 20mins but it didnt look that bad and all of the swearing and violence in the end was as is so not much need to get so excited fella's....

although, in fairness i watched this on the crappy 14" TV in my bedroom and not on my 42" plasma so hence perhaps why it didnt look that bad...
