MacGyver back on TV

about 2 weeks ago MacGyver re-runs starting from season one, are being shown on FX at around 6pm(8pm on fx+1) everyday.

Had to be my favourite program from my childhood.

A few things I notice now is he travels a lot, never realised he used to travel all over the world, I used to think he was just somewhere in the states the whole time.

I remember a few months ago myself and a few mates were searching through Sky trying to find s channel which showed it and then a few weeks ago we saw it on FX!!

Anyone else watching it?

Re: MacGyver back on TV

They do like their MacGyver

I watched the reruns on Bravo a couple of years ago and I stuck with it so I must have enjoyed it and even though some of his exploits were beyond belief it never felt as silly as The A-Team.

Re: MacGyver back on TV

I have only seen the TV movies of this. I wished it was on Freeview. I find O.Neil is a lot like Macgver in some ways. Even Amanda Tapping made a Macguyer joke while filiming the first season. The look on RDA's face was priceless.

It was the very first episode, i think. I've just started to watch SG-1 from the very beginning.

It was in the special features and was the episode Solitudes. It was when they are showing the episode being filmed and Amanda decided to make a joke.

It either Children Of The Gods or The Enemy Within, as i've only watched the first 2 episodes, and it was definetly one of these.

Solitudes is episode 17, and nowhere near there.....unless there is more than one MacGyver reference?

It was a joke while filming by Amanda (not as Carter). It was not in the actual episode but the special features.

Re: MacGyver back on TV

Ther was an episode in one of the seasons where she says "it took ages just to macGver a working prototype" or some thing like that.

But the way she takes the mick out of RDA on the dvd extras is just classic stuff

"You were MacGyver , mcguffin, mcgiddigt........!

I see, in that case there is a MacGyver reference in the actual episode as well.

Just watched todays MacGyver...... stethoscope + alarm clock = lie detector!

Great Stuff
