Anyone else seen this? Started on this this afternoon, weird. Rebecca De Mornay looks as good as ever.

Have seen the 1st 2 episodes and yeah its weird, but interesting! It has a really good cast (several Deadwooders

) and its great to see De Mornay again. Definitely going to keep watching to see where this all goes.

Only had the chance to watch the first episode yesterday, 2 & 3 for today. I'd read some blurb on it but when it opened with Luke Perry heading towards the surf I had a horrible moment when I thought it was going to be some sort of soaplite, very glad it wasn't.

This is definitely a must see show; has that compulsive oddness of Northern Exposure etal but can it possibly satifactorily go anywhere/conclude?

The writer David Milch (with Kem Nunn) is either a total loon or a

genius. I didn't understand half of what was going on although things really began to click around ep7 but after ep10 it'll seemed to feel just right. The chat between John and Linc in the motel carpark was perhaps the highlight of the whole show, how can anyone write that stuff

Apparently been cancelled by HBO, hope this pushes Milch back to Deadwood.

As much as I would have been interested to see where they could have taken it I'm not that bothered as it seemed to tie itself as neatly as you could hope for such an odd show.

Not sure it's a show that could have been pushed beyond a "mini-series" running time. Like all shows that sat themselves in the mystical/spiritual and even bizarre genre they can get old very very fast and if the ten eps are it then I have no problems what so ever

Given the cost/performance of Deadwood the fact that JFC only lasted a season is irrelevant, Deadwood was going regardless of what followed (as long as it was cheaper).

The final episode was a bit happy - clappy, perhaps they had the Dundirk spirit as they tried to tie up the loose ends . However I did like the dialogue with the car's salesman.

At least the show did finish its run, I'm still fuming about "Smith".

In my father's house are many rooms...........and No. 24 is reserved for Teddy........
