Jericho Season 2 Might Happen

Heya, I read this article over at Tv.com and having been one that watched this show I will paste the bit I will be refering to and my thoughts below.

I read this from TV.com that CBS posted

"""The initial order is only for seven episodes, but CBS is hoping that the show's fans can rally more viewers, which will in turn mean more Jericho.

"In success, there is the potential for more. But, for there to be more Jericho, we will need more viewers," Tassler's post continues. "A loyal and passionate community has clearly formed around the show. But that community needs to grow. It needs to grow on the CBS Television Network, as well as on the many digital platforms where we make the show available. We will count on you to rally around the show, to recruit new viewers with the same grass-roots energy, intensity, and volume you have displayed in recent weeks."

CBS will do its part by re-airing the first season of Jericho this summer, streaming episodes and clips of the show online, and releasing the first season on DVD on September 25. """

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now I saw the way this program ended and I for one will absolutely NOT recommend this program to ANYONE until we have a garuntee that it will be continued because this is the sort of cliffhanger you will kill them for not showing a conclusion.

Until they release a statement that it will definetly be back I cannot recommend this program to watch on TV or buy on DVD as it is a waste of time as you run the chance of never seeing what happens and this sort of **** really ****** me off.

Re: Jericho Season 2 Might Happen

Seems a strange post. I would recommend this to others. It is/was a great show and although has not had an ending it had great stand alone episodes.

If I was to take your attitude I would never have watched Odyssey 5 last year or Smith this year. Both shows although short and very short and incomplete were great TV.

Not many series wind up loose ends and if they do they have usually been stretching them out for too many years. It's the nature of TV, just be glad we get to see some great shows.

Day Break ended pretty well.

Also what other TV series can you name that ended whilst leaving you in so much suspense it made you want to kill someone cause they decided to cancel it without wrapping it up.

After the episode ended I was like *** *** *** who on gods green earth is letting you live for ending this program like this.

I tell ya if I could turn invisible I would hate to think how many TV execs I would have killed to this day.

I know on the top of my list would be everyone at Fox for cancelling Drive, Titus, Firefly and screwing up Die Hard which has always been R Rated (In America anyway and it seems they are getting the worst of the ratings for this film)

Errr..... Dungeons & Dragons, did they ever get back home????

Day break didn't really end though, did it? The series I named already were cruely cancelled with no real conclusions, at least Jericho got 22 Episodes in. Invasion was a let down. I just found your post strange, because if you do get peolple to watch it, then it might continue.
TV is just wierd. Listen to Kevin Smith talk about his experience trying to make Reaper to see how messed up tv studios are.

And any way the producers want to wrap up Jericho if possible, they said that early on.

Now then...What happened to Butch & Sundance??, what did Mr Ripley do??, Is Macready the Thing?? What the hell was going on in the Matrix??

Re: Jericho Season 2 Might Happen

I'm just so glad this show is coming back. I felt like the rug was being ripped from under me the way that last season ended. CBS was going be to way down on my list.

But the change of heart is tremendous. Now we need to get people watching again...I know in the states CBS is showing parts of season 1 again starting on July 6th. Get as many people watching as you can so that this show can stick around.
