I imagine it's quite annoying being wheeled out to all those repetetive interviews several times a day where you're being billed as one of the funniest people on the planet and they expect you to be hilarious.
I thought Rock was quite a good guest - we actually got to see what he was like outside of his ranting stand up routine. Thought he was pretty funny with his Oprah comments etc..

Hanks has always been a likeable bloke, surprised most people didn't realise he was a funny chap - considering he was a TV Comic/Comedy Actor before Hollywood got hold of him for serious movies.

Hanks is like Steve Martin gone straight without the stand up.

All his earlier movies were comedies

Bachelor Party (great film)
The Burbs
Dragnet
Big
Money Pit

Re: Jonathon Ross tonight...

How nice a bloke did Dwight come over?, don't like to be known as the Rock anymore. He was more wittier than Ross himself His body art is hell of a big tattoo, that must take some makeup to cover over for his movies.

I agree, I have always been a massive fan of The Rock and seeing him last night in a interview as Dwayne Jonson was great. He was on there a few years ago but I missed it. He was really witty and down to earth, a nice guy.

If you have time go on you tube and do a search for the Rock and watch some of his interview/promos of when he is in chracther in WWE. Some are hillarious.

LOL, I can't stand her either . It was at this point that I switched over. Funnily enough I emailed her a few weeks ago (couldn't possibly tell you what I said ) but she never replied .

Re: Jonathon Ross tonight...

Nice to see the old timers still doing what they do best, The Osmonds, more the 4 older brothers in the band, and a worldwide tour to boot. And Neil Diamond still belting them out, when he went to sing to the audience and climbed the stairs with his slightly dramatic performance, i thought he was going to leave

Will Smith was on top form last night. Charlotte Church was fine.

Watched Tom Cruise, and Lee Evans episode last night, and it was very entertaining. Tom Cruise doesn't get any older, and Lee Evans doesn't get any prettier!

Oh by the way.. Lee Evans will be in one of the next Dr Who episodes!

That was a funny interview with Cruise, and nice to see how down to earth he was, making him sing, farting questions, everything to make him feel uncomfortable

Re: Jonathon Ross tonight...

William Shatner stole the show, and even Jonathon Ross was left sitting in his seat just listening most of the time. It was very funny, possibly one of the most classic interviews of all time.

Sorry Bri, didn't watch it, but was that Jesse James? He was on the US Celeb Apprentice this year ... came across as a nice and funny bloke though others were wondering what SB saw in him, and presumed it must have been to do with the trouser dept. And he's not her boyfriend, I think he's her husband of a few years now.

Re: Jonathon Ross tonight...

Not watched this in ages, but caught it last night and was quite impressed. He still makes sure he's the star though, even with such quality guests.
Will give it a watch next week to see Captain Slow, but it will never be a weekly thing for me because JR is on every week.
And as for the puffs and a piano...........................shockingly bad TV. They can't sing, play, are not funny, and are not even a good sendup of themselves.
