Cool Ghost Whisperer

Does any one have any updated information on when the second season of this great show will air here in the UK.

I know E4 are not going to be showing it.

Trouble is they will repeat is continously for over a year before going to the second season. I don't see it anyway as ABC1 stops at 6pm on Freeview.

Re: Ghost Whisperer

The second season of Ghost Whisper will premiere on Living TV although no date given as of yet. So that's a "popular" US import moving from free telly to PAY telly and SKY1 have nothing to do with it hence the lack of outrage over at DS

Re: Ghost Whisperer

I quite like this too, good season 1 finale, totally didn't see that coming. JLH in various low-cut tops doesn't hurt either

Re: Ghost Whisperer

I started recording this from the beginning after seeing the pilot episode coming up on ABC1. Didn't really fancy it before but saw a few minutes of the lovely JLH in some unfeasibly loose low cut top and decided to record it

Watched the whole season and it has developed into a rather good show. Kind of forget the reason why I started watching it and now watch it for the show itself. Nothing mind blowing and it can get far too slushy sometimes but I have heard good things about Season 2 and apparently the ratings are doing very well in the US.

What about the Season 1 twist though. I should have seen it coming and it was ripped straight from you know where but it was still a big shock.

Checked the TV guide and it appears that Living are showing Season 2. It looks like they have already started, but for those that missed it, me for example, they are having a catch up day on Sunday 16th September, the first 5 episodes, with what looks like the 6th episode in it's regular Tuesday timeslot.

Re: Ghost Whisperer

I started watching it for exactly the same reasons as you

Pair of sad gits, or what

Ended up really enjoying it. Like you say, what a climax to season 1, totally didn't see that coming either.

Season 2 has started off pretty well so far and it's supposed to be a bit darker this season, so looking good (especially if JLH continues with the same style of wardrobe)

I know, but at least we are honest. :grin

There are so many TV shows that I started watching just because they had a 'fit bird' in the lead role, then after a little while the quality of the show took over from that. Buffy and Veronica Mars are two that immediately spring to mind.

Re: Ghost Whisperer

I enjoyed season1 but I'm having to force myself to watch season2, it hasn't appealed so far with cast changes and well more of the same which for some shows is fine and others not so good.

Re: Ghost Whisperer

I'm quite interested in this but wasn't willing to risk the £30 Asda were charging for the DVDs so I thought I'd wait for the price to come down. They're now charging £35!

Cheers

I saw most of season 1 and the ending was one of the best twists I have seen in a series. I didn't see it coming at all. Unfortunately, I don't have access to season 2 unless E4 chnage their minds. ABC 1 on Freeview stops at 6pm so no night programmes for me.

Maybe but the rights package Living bought my preclude a showing on ABC1 where as it didn't when ITV had the first run rights. More than likely a second or third run will turn up on V1 as it would be the main FTA channel for the VM empire.
