I found the last season of the contenor quite boring. I think the different format and the loss of stalone didnt not help it at all. I may give this a go though.

Saw a mention of this in McGuigans paper column a couple of weeks back but could find no further mention of it. From that column it seems Robin Reid is going to be one of the UK contenders

yep i agree- i actually stopped watching at the semi final stage



although this contender challenge does sound interesting

i wonder who will compete from US contender? (manfredo,gomas, the snake etc)

what they have already had the fights? .....

looks like it they are all dated the 29th or 30th of March and the profiles of each fighter tells you who won. Major spoiler

Yeah they mentioned the event during last weekends broadcast with it's future airdate, it would have made an excellent live event but now UK viewers and fight fans have to avoid spoilers (and not just for one day) for a UK event!
