Going to the cinema sunday evening, and need some help deciding what to see, I'm thinking about One hour photo, red dragon or Signs. Anyone help with what to see?

I'll be watching Red Dragon - been looking forward to this one for ages now. It will be interesting to see how it compares with Manhunter and SOTL.

I've read all three of the hanibal lectar books, and seen the three existing films, I found that watching the other three have spoiled my apreciation of the novels, lets hope red dragon is better.

I can understand what you mean there though I do think SOTL made a great transition from novel to film. I also think Hannibal the book was just silly and poor through and through. Harris obviously let the money go to his head .

I haven't seen any of those 3 but Jonathan Ross thought Red Dragon was dire, only marginally better than Hannibal.

One Hour Photo looks great and is a film I can't wait for DVD release.

I'm put off by Signs because of Mel Gibson but then it is that M. Night Shamalangadingdong chap so should be good

I have seen all three at the cinema

In my opinion signs was good but a bit silly and was let down by a poor ending

Red Dragon was very good, take what Woss says with a pinch of salt. Red Dragon is far better than Hannibal and Manhunter, excellent performances all round. It is obviously far more enjoyable if you haven't read the book or seen Manhunter.

One hour photo is a superb film, one of Robin Williams finest perfomances in a film. If you only see one of the three go for this one i doubt you will be disappointed.

Woss is an uneducated twit. He can be funny but as far as being a film critic goes, I don't belive a word he says .
