Cool Over Used Styles And Silliness’.

What do the above mean well here are some examples.

1 This probably dates back to the Rap Pack which is groups of people walking behind a lead by and large in a formation, generally a V formation examples can be seen in The Professionals, Reservoir Dogs, Mutant X, and at the end of Spooks.

2 Holding a gun side ways some one thought it cool too hold the gun in a horizontal position instead of the vertical( was it John Woo??????), everybody started copying it. If it is better and accurate why have not the armed forces taken it up?

3 Flying cars, cars instead of crashing into on an other one hits the other and flies into the air, as not seen in most accidents. I once saw a program where a car ran in to the back of an other moving car and it did this, the camera paned with the two cars but a trailer with rams at the back could be seen at the back of the non-flyer.

The armed forces hav'nt taken it up becouse it dos'nt work . That's why

The cars flying in the air thing . No one did that better than the a-team . We all used to sit down on a sat and wait for the car to go flying . every ep there had to be one at least one

The other thing that realy gets me is explosions . A car hits somthing and gos boom, but i have seen car bombs go off with not even half as much mess being made . I meen why do the torroists bother with all the exlosives . why don't they just drive a car into a lamp post.

The same gos for bombs in films .You see a bomb the size of your fist .When it gos off, it detroys an area the size of new mexico

Not quite in the same line, but whenever a phone rings it's always something important.

And why is it, when someone wears a bullet proof vest, they always get shot in the chest and not in the head? How do they know that they are always going to get hit in the chest first? If it was me shooting someone, I would have a quick think and say, I know you're wearing a bullet proof vest, so I'm going to put one right between your eyes you b@$&rd.
P.S. Please don't mistake me for a non sensical violent thug.

Sorry lads this is not the point of this post what you are talking has been done before.
What I’m on about is copped styles such as: When Harry Met Sally one Yes, Yes, Yes (fake orgasms) you see used on all sorts of adverts, seen it on hair products and I think there’s one for a shower gel.

How do they know that they are always going to get hit in the chest first?

Because it says so in the script ...

Guess today slow-mo and bullet-time are the most copied styles, interesting in the beginning but now it just bores ....

Not off a cliff, but when the car goes off the bridge in Magnolia (Tom Cruise) and crashes into the wall/street and then there is no sound or movement.........very shocking and impressive. Note to scriptwriter: You don't need an explosion everytime, Jack

do you mean vanilla sky? can't remember a car crash in magnolia with no movement/noise. The ambulance crash was very noisy and had tons of slow mo movement.

On the same line of thought, Why do the bad guys have machine guns, yet they always miss the good guy, yet the good guy is armed with a handgun, fires off 6 shots & every bullet finds its target (the bad guy)?

Cool

Here one I really hate scenes where they try to prove how clever they are with a camera and shoot 360 degrees round a person or a group.

The 'Jaws' shot's been over-used a bit (I forget how it's done now). Mind you, good effect.
