Looking forward to seeing this - I'm a big fan of Bill paxton. Reviews have been really good. Just waiting for the postman to deliver the dvd as Play posted it on thursday.

I ordered it today from Play, they have it listed as released on the 17/9 but I guess they got stocks early? Really happy to see it listed as THX certified DD EX too.

I saw this last night at the worst cinema I'd ever been to, and I still enjoyed it. If you like Bill Paxton, this is his best performance. He also directed it. Fantastic stuff.

told in flashbacks paxton has 2 lads bout 10 and 12 ish

One night paxton claims to have been sent a message from god and he has been given a list of people who are demons in diguise

so paxton bumps them off much to the horror of his kids

a large portion of the film is how the one lad copes with his dad going nuts

very dark

Got round to watching the DVD on Saturday night... like many others who've seen it, I enjoyed it and found it a very solid, interesting film.

I have to say it's not jaw-dropping though. The ending is quite well done, although maybe a little over-cooked to really make the hairs on the back of the neck stand up.

The two child actors are utterly convincing though.

Haven't seen 'Changing Lanes' but 'Panic Room' is marginally better than Frailty I'd say.
