Missing programmes

I know it was the holidays, but there have been a number of programmes that just seem to have disappeared. Entourage, Standoff to name a couple.

What happened with the old days when during the credits they used to say a programme wouldn't be on the following week or not until so and so date?

I find it really frustrating as I have them series linked and then then I notice my planner is a lot shorter than it was and have to work out what's missing.

I know sometimes it not the programme disappearing, but just a series link programme, but now I just have to keep a separate list of all the programmes and check each week that something not gone or come come.

Re: Missing programmes

Totally agree mate. Although after the last entourage before Xmas, I'm sure the guy at the end said they will pick up again in the new year, so I expect it to be on this sunday. Will have to check listings...in fact, thanks for reminding me.

But that is one thing that annoys me, the series link on my Sky+ disappears and programmes go missing.

Re: Missing programmes

Series links won't appear straight away if the next ep is over 7 days away, if it's less than two weeks then the link should then appear after 7 days but it requires the broadcaster to program it correctly.

At the mo many programmes are taken an extended break over xmas such as Standoff, Bones and Lost on SKY1 which return in Feb.
SKY may very well start advertising the return of their shows and include the green button reminder option, barring that you've just to keep your eyes open
