Hong Kong Phooey Tooey

I just read on a film site according to today's Variety, director Brett Ratner (Rush Hour, Red Dragon) is bringing Hanna-Barbera's Hong Kong Phooey to the big screen.

The trade scoops that Ratner's Rat Entertainment will produce the live-action/computer animated comedy along with Warner Bros.-based Alcon Entertainment. The filmmakers hope to turn the project into a franchise.

I always liked Hong Kong Phooey but what is next.

Also Sony are planning to make a Return to Castle Wolfenstein Film.

Spot the Cat. He was cool Actually if done well, could work as a film, he used to get up to plenty of wacky things. Just hope the CGI is good!

You know no shame

I love HKP. It rates as an all time favourite. Funny how people are going on about cartoon + live action almost like it's a new concept.
