Torchwood Finale wow!
Well the Torchwood series has just come to an end.
I for one have loved it, a worthy spin off from Doctor Who.The last minutes of the show linking the 2 series together were what I was hoping for a reference to the Doctor, then the sound of the Tardis top stuff!
BBC HD the icing on the cake.
New series starts filming in March of this year
Will Jack be in it?...........

Re: Torchwood Finale wow!
I agree... splendid series!
I watched the Sarah Jane spin-off earlier and wasn't very impressed, but it IS designed for kids so I suppose that'll be why!
I'm hoping that the sound of the Tardis at the end of the Torchwood finale indicates that Captain Jack may end up appearing in a few episodes of the next series of Dr Who ( I refuse to call it the "third" series seeing as it had already been running for many series before being resurrected).
But then again, maybe John Barrowman wants to get involved in other things and it just seemed like a nice way to get him out of Torchwood... although I sincerely hope not!!!!!
Cheers,
Terry.

Re: Torchwood Finale wow!
A long running Torchwood thread, and a new one on tonight's finale at the TV forum:
www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=412861
www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=449747
EDIT ... and, BTW, it was confirmed ages ago (well before series 2 of DW and series 1 of Torchwood) that Barrowman would be back in series 3 of DW, apparantly towards the end
- which may then tie in with series 2 of Torchwood

Re: Torchwood Finale wow!
John Barrowman can't be running around in Torchwood and appearing in Panto at the same time, Can he? Or is it a Torchwood plot with some nasty alien disguised as a panto dame eating the audience at the New Theatre Cardiff.
P.S. if Russell T Davies uses this plot I want royalties.
Happy New Year
