New Avengers

When I was a kid, I thought The New Avengers was the dogs doo-dahs. That is probably why I have grown up bitter and twisted. Years of fantasising about being Gareth Hunt

Anyway, all 26 episodes are coming out in a 7 DVD box set for 42.99.

Has anyone seen these episodes recently? If so, how have they dated?

Should I buy

Last one I saw was 6-7 years ago and remember seeing lovely Lumly flash her stocking top, can't think why that (ahem) comes to mind
But it still seemed like fun.

Cool

Preferred The Avengers with Diana Rigg, and Linda Thorson. Some of the stories were not bad though. I even have a few on tape especially with Peter Cushing, and the one with the Cybernauts.
