Battlestar Galactica - Season 3
Anyone know when this is being released on DVD? I've just watched Season 2 and all I can say is  - definetly the best thing on TV at present IMHO.
I believe the third season is on Sky quite soon - but I can't stomach watching with endless adverts - so really want to get the DVD boxset. Any ideas of dates (US, UK or wherever)? When was Season 2 released?

Season2 R1 first half was Dec 2005 and the second half Sept 2006.
The season2 R2 was released Aug 2006.
Season 3 was broadcast in the US at a later date and no release date has been announced yet, perhaps they are going for a single full boxset this time around.
Who watches adverts these days

Season 3 has not yet finished showing in the US...they are around half way through.
Given the S2 boxsets (R1), I think it's likely that S3 will also be in two parts.
Expect the R2 versions to be podcastless.
It's an .88 Magnum. It shoots through schools!

Cheers for the replies guys - looks like there will quite a wait then for the DVDs  Disappointing because it is a such an addictive series!

Yes but unlike season2 there isn't a 3 month break (only a short break either side of xmas) so a full season3 boxset is more likely.

If you can't get yourself to FF through the ads then just download the episodes, it's not as if you are not paying too watch them or going to put off a DVD purchase after all

You pretty much have to watch from the begining to get the story but I would guess you can watch from Series 3 as long as you dont mind not having a clue whats going on.
