Just another reminder that the special documentary Southbound about Due South airs tonight on ITV3 at 7pm. It was in Pooch's christmas highlights but I forgot to add it to my SKY+ and only just seen listed in digiguide.

I watched this and thought it was ok. Had the typical american syle of telling us what the original show was about after every set of adverts.

Would have liked and inteveiw with Diefenbaker though

I wonder if there will ever be a new series?

A nice trip down memory lane although I know I don't consider any episode without Dave Marciano as Ray as being "proper" I was amazed I didn't recognise Callum Keith Rennie from his recent BSG role.
I really must have been on autopilot during those later Due South episodes


That aside what was up with the picture quality?
The clips looked like they were from 10 year old VHS copies and the rest of the program looked like amateur video camera work or a very poor NTSC to PAL conversion.
