Smallville Season 5 HD-DVD

Seen this on Movietyme for £34.99. Has anyone got it? Whats the sound and picture quality like?

Was the worst Smallville season so far, but watching it in HD might make that up.

Buying it on HD-DVD after buying the R1 boxset is out of the question though

I will resist, for as along as I can and not think of Lana and Chloe at the costume party or Lois as a stripper in HD
Now if Atlantis and BSG were released I wouldn't have a second thought in replacing my DVD sets.
