Thumbs up Anyone see the "24: Day 6 Promo" last night on Sky 1?

Hi,

So did anyone else see the "24": Day 6" promo introduction, last night at 11pm on Sky 1?!

I think it's repeated in the next few days on both Sky 1 and Sky 2, but although it wasn't a major spoiler, it certainly has me all fired up for when Day 6 starts on SKy 1 in the New Year!

Re: Anyone see the "24: Day 6 Promo" last night on Sky 1?

Is that the 10 minute Toyota advert?

This season 6 prequel was on YouTube a couple of weeks ago, and should be on my R1 boxset that I hope to have before Christmas

back on YouTube squashed to 4:3 here:

and good R1 rip available by the usual methods

I wondered how they'd somehow get a car chase in there. Think these prequels would be much better if they weren't so blatantly sponsored by Toyota.

... are you referring to the trailer which has footage of Season 6, rather than the specially shot prequel (that's supposed to bridge the gap as well as being a teaser)?

... then again I could ask Pooch the same question

The prequel's only been out since the start of the month, basically rips from the R1 Season 5 DVD boxset released on 5th Dec

I saw the thread on here that gave a link to the 10 minute prequel on youtube about a week or so ago...

best one was the original one - not Toyota sponsored - i.e. the Season 4 prequel which explains why he's no longer at CTU, and nice touch with the strong language which as a US networked (not cable) show wouldn't be allowed on the broadcast episodes

Re: Anyone see the "24: Day 6 Promo" last night on Sky 1?

I saw about 30 seconds near the end and since it missed most of it I decided to check the programme guide and couldn't see it on any other day or time. If anybody knows when it's repeated because downloading on a dial-up is not really a realistic avenue for me

Exclamation Re: Anyone see the "24: Day 6 Promo" last night on Sky 1?

Hi,

1) I was talking about the 10-minute promo/teaser, that was sponsored by Toyota, and POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT (HIGHLIGHT TO READ) shows Jack Bauer being kidnapped by a gang of Chinese political blokes, who torture him on a boat, wanting to know the whereabouts of a US-employed Chinese defector. END OF SPOILER

2) Sorry if I was late about this news. I can't be the TV Guru all the time, guys and gals!

3) Have checked the Christmas and New Year schedules, and it doesn't look like there are any repeats of the afore-mentioned promo/teaser again, on any Sky channels!

Is'nt the prequel shown on skyone just before the actual new series?, so not long now, or is there any working links online.

they don't last long at YouTube (This video has been removed at the request of copyright owner Twentieth Century Fox because its content was used without permission), but the good quality 720x400 76MB DVD rip is widely available from the usual sources

Re: Anyone see the "24: Day 6 Promo" last night on Sky 1?

I was disappointed not to see the heads up of this prequal on avforums. Maybe i missed it or maybe my fellow geeks didnt give a warning..

Anyway, got a phone call from a mate just before and so saw it. Good warm up, althouhg just like the last prequel, didnt do much plot-wise.

Roll on season 6
