Any idea what this how was called.

Been racking my brain. It used to be on in the eighties early 90's. It was about a couple of guys who lived in a huge houseboat and the show always seemed to end where one the guys take off in this massive helicopter with a smiley face or shark face painted on it. I think it was a detective story.
