Vanished er... Vanished

It seems that the TV series Vanished has been pulled from the TV schedules in America.

The remaining 4 episodes are to be 'broadcast' over the internet via myspace.

This is disappointing news for me as I've been following this show up until now and unfortunately it's only available to viewers in the US. Fingers crossed these episodes will eventually appear in the usual places

Just read about this earlier today. Real shame as I really got into the show, especially since the new main character was drafted in.

Totally agree.

According to Wikipedia it's been picked up by Five US and will be shown here in 2007.

a shame but no real loss; don't think the new guy's a match for Gale Harold's Kelton anyway

not really sure how the new episodes will appear in the usual places, since the quality of the stream rips are bound to be sh*te .... has anyone found the remaining 8 online episodes of Kidnapped at all ???

I also watched this and was thinking there was another episode, looked for one and found there wasn't so watched the ending againa dn can't believe thats how they ended it myself.

I've watched the whole thing and the show was a travesty after episode 7
- when there was a major cast change, which had already happened before the pilot had even aired; the storytelling, acting and dialogue were awful from that moment, along with cheesy product placement (Cisco, Toyota Prius etc), and with Sara Collins' just doing a rather bad rip off of Teri/Kim Bauer's silly b-plots from 24. It deserved to be cancelled.

The only decent actors were Gale Harold and Rebecca Gayheart who did the best they could.

Kidnapped was a classy production all round, and didn't deserve the same treatment as Vanished!!

I thought they said that the main storyline was going to be wrapped up but many of the background threads left hanging.

What I saw wasn't what I would call wrapped up in any way, shape or form. They just seemed to keep throwing on more and more twists even though they knew they wouldn't have a chance to explain them.

At least invasion bothered to finish the main story lines.
