Re: dead like me

My missus really enjoyed that show, but typically the US networks only seem to care about viewing figures, not how good a programme is, and seeing as the figures in the states wernt great i can't see a 3rd season being made, which is a shame as from the few episode i watched i thought the humour was quite clever

Re: dead like me

Yup great show, rare for an american show to have so much black humour in it. Especially loved guessing how the characters would die like the reapers guessed.

regards

Re: dead like me

yes i agree,it was the writers who made the series, the story's made you laugh one minute and weep the next ,the reapers were so dam human.
i also loved the lead played by ellen muntz, not the least bit glamorous or beutiful
but could out act any of the so called *stars*.
loved em all.

Re: dead like me

I noticed an advert for this this on sci-fi last week and on the strength of that downloaded the first couple of episodes.

I was so impressed that I ordered both seasons (R2 season1 & R1 season2).
Received season 1 yesterday and am loving it.

As others have said, funny, sad and thought provoking at the same time.

Re: dead like me

I blind purchased the first season in Whsmith for £14.99, and was hooked from the start. I instantly ordered the second season on R1,(£17.99, if I remember), and was joyed to see the first season not long after I'd bought, pop up in a film mag's piece about shows that you'd never heard off, but should check out. I still haven't actually watched the last ever episode, as I don't want this marvelous show to end. Sits proudly on my shelves, along side other brilliant shows, which never had a chance,(Wonderfalls, Firefly, The Job, Arrested Development). If only for a Family Guy style rebirth. I can dream...

Re: dead like me

Given that everyone above has season 2 on R1 am I right in thinking that season 2 has not yet been released on R2?
