Just got this last week - didn't watch it on Sky. Started last Wednesday... up to Episode 16 already.

I wasn't a fan of S4 as I found it very dumbed down with poor writing and some bad, unrealistic characters (Edgar and President Logan).

Up until midway point S5 was heading in the same way with some very implausible storylines (isn't there always!!), but some of Logan's decisions are just so unbeliveable from a President!

Anyway since the halfway point its really taken off and feels like 24 of old, real edge of the seat drama with some hard-hitting moments!!

Here's hoping the last 8 episodes do the series justice!!

FYI already seen season 5, just want this great show on dvd.

I thought the start was good then slowed down a bit and wasnt quite as good but then defo picked up (I thought ep 7-8, as I recall) and didnt stop till the end! Definately 24 at its finest

I bought it in HMV as I had £16 left on my gift card - it was £34.99, minus my gift card amount. So for me a good deal!!

Do you think Richard Nixon comparison is deliberate?

I found it all a bit predictable at the beginning and I just can't stand Edgar, Chloe and the President. But its up and running now, going great guns!!!
